In our 2015 manifesto on which I stood, we promised the people an in/out referendum on our membership of the European Union. We delivered on that promise yesterday. The British public have spoken and a majority have voted to leave the European Union.
One of the most enjoyable aspects of my role as Member of Parliament for Colchester is visiting local schools and speaking with pupils about Parliament and my role as their representative.
Our fantastic town centre is at the very heart of our town, and I am working to improve it on a regular basis.
My inbox is always filled with constituents who provide their feedback and concerns with our town centre, and I regularly share this feedback with Colchester Borough Council.
