Yesterday Will visited Shelter to discuss their campaigns around DSS discrimination, which is where landlords refuse to rent to those receiving housing benefits. They also discussed Local Housing Authority rates and social housing.
Will has worked with Shelter for many years and at the Department of Work and Pensions Will and his team are looking at ways to offer better support to those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. It was announced today that there will be a homelessness point of contact in every job centre, helping vulnerable people to access the right support to help them improve their lives.
